What can travelers do in a short visit to Jordan?

Recently the Queen Alia International Airport got expanded and starts to serve 6 million travelers than 3.5 million travelers per year. This brings to Jordan many travelers having transit at the airport. Most of them have no idea what to do during transit time.

Madaba city is the ideal place to use during the transit time. It is only 18 km from airport, means within 20 min driving one can be in a nice Jordanian city full of things to do and can fit the time you have from 6 to 72 hours.

Mariam Hotel works some itineraries for transit travelers at Queen Alia International Airport.

1-      Itinerary for 6-8 hours Pick up from airport to Madaba cost JD 14 spend the time in city center by visiting St. Georges Church (Mosaic Map of the holy land) entrance fees JD 2, visiting the archeological (a great collections of Mosaics), a visit to the Apostils church and to the Madaba museum all these sites you buy one ticket cost JD 2. This all can be done on foot. Also you can spend time in the street with the handy craft shops and see many nice pieces of souvenirs reasonably priced.  After that you may come to the hotel to have a hot meal with cold drinks and spend time by the pool or at the bar before going back to the airport to catch your plan.

2-      Itinerary  for 8-12 hours same as before but we add to it a visit to Mount Nebo the place where God shows Moses the holy land and the place where Moses believed to be birded the entrance fees to this site is 1 JD. Also a visit to La Storia Museum (This is a unique museum of its kind in Jordan it tells the story of the holy land and the Jordanian cultural village) we provide free tickets to this museum.

3-      Itinerary for 12-72 hours mainly plains with such transit period they arrived at night so we can arrange to pick you up from airport to Mariam Hotel sleep the first (or whatever might be left of it) in the morning after breakfast come to the reception and we can arrange tours for you such like full day tour to Mount Nebo, Bethany, Dead Sea, panorama and Hammamat Main. Or one day trip to Petra via Desert way and the driver can wait for you and bring you back to Madaba cost JD 70 per car not per person so if you are more than a person you can share the cost Also we can arrange for you one such like Jerash, Ajlune and Um Qais full day cost JD 65. . Some travelers using Queen Alia airport and then they want to go to Jerusalem or to Tel Aviv such like flying from Cairo or from Dubai or any other Gulf cities. Mariam Hotel will be ideal for them as we can arrange to pick them up from airport to Madaba the overnight at Mariam hotel next day in the morning we can arrange for them a car to King Hussain Bridge if they intend to visit Jerusalem cost JD 17 then they pay Israeli Visa cost around 30 US$ after they cross the border they take the bus to Jerusalem cost 10US$. If they intend to go to Tel Aviv then we arrange for them a car to take them to Madaba to Shikh Hussain Bridge cost JD 50, then you pay 30 US$ for Israeli Visa and 15 US$ to get to Tel Aviv.
